House of Reps Approves Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)

So you stillllllll think we run on a two party system where the Dems
and Publicans have different agendas? Well, I'd like to introduce you
to the new FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) Bill.

We'll we all know how well the good ol Patriot Act that worked by
stoppin terrorism by illegal phone taps. It worked sooo well that the
House thunk up another banger, and this one is for the corporations.

See, the new FISA joint gives immunity to phone companies when they're
involved with some questionable activity like, I don't know, illegal
phone taps? Basically, the Patriot Act allowed the prez to spy on ya
phones, but on this joint, they can tap ya phone for up to a WEEK
WITHOUT A WARRANT. I repeat WITHOUT A WARRANT.

Watch how they flip it here in an excerpt from the bill;

"...civil action may not lie or be maintained in a Federal or State
court against any person for providing assistance to an element of the
intelligence community, and shall be properly dismissed, if the
Attorney General certifies to the district court of the United States
in which such action is pending.."

OH WORD. We can't sue if the PHONE COMPANY IS SPYIN ON US FOR NO REASON?

and I quote a worthless piece of paper that was once drafted on hemp;

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses,
papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall
not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause,
supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the
place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

^^^that right thur just got shatted upon, worser than a lot of shiet
of late. Aint a surprise that the House is just manipulatin the
constitution even more.

So what does this mean for you? I'm glaaaad you axed (c) Homeboy Shoppin Network

- For starters, if you feel like they tappin the gawd and want to find
out if they is and want to sue, guess what, you prolly aint gonna make
it too far. The same companies that allowed this administration to tap
the phones are protected by the same people. So when you think the
streets is watchin, you might as well pull that skirt up cuz they is,
and you aint gonna be able to sue

- You can garan-gat-damn-tee that the phone companies are comin up off
of this. Imagine the under the table agreements that had to go down
for this type of legislation to pop off...even worser, imagine the
payback from the administration to the phone companies...while we text
away and talk about the music we make and the fucked up government
that runs us, these mofos will most likely find a way to up add more
charges to your already fucked up ass celly bill, and you pretty much
cant do nothin about it. Moe money, moe money, moe money! (c) Homeboy

Boogie's Conspiracy Nut Analysis:

Bush is gettin in his last goodies and throwin up alleys to all his
homies down the court. The House passed this joint with a LOT of
Democratic support. Even the Hoe House Speaker Nancy Pelosi caught the
vapors and is cashin in when SHE was the one promisin to end the
war...foh. Its going to the Senate next week, and we gonna see if
Obama got the nuts to vote against this shit. Make no mistake, there
is absolutely NOTHIN good about this bill, so there is NO reason for
ANYONE to vote for it. He was silent about this shit for a minute,
which is suspect as fuck to me joe.

I know a lot of cats like to champion DJ Obama, but we need to sit
back and really think about who has what to gain, and what we have to
lose. Thinkin in party lines only clouds the decisions you need to
make, but then again, you do not live in a true democracy. So just be
prepared for things to come...the dems aint gonna stop the floss, the
publicans aint gonna stop it...

We'll see what Barack got to say about it tho...and I hope I'm wrong
about all this shit too...but if i aint, this will prolly be one of
the worse acts in legislation in the last 30 years

*text messages the block and tells em to strap up*

Good luck with this shit yall

Observation: The Vice Pres-o-dent.

Aight, is ya still thinkin that we live a 'democracy'? Let's take a look at only ONE aspect of why we're NOT.

Observation:

We so called 'elect' a president via voting (well, kinda sorta. they got that thang called the Electoral College that acts as a saftey net in close popular vote counts). But yeah, 'we' elect a president, but what about the Vice President? We don't elect him, but he is picked?

So let me get this straight

One person can pick who can be his successor if he gets murked or 86'd?

AND how many Vice Prezes actually became prezes after the fact yo? Thas ya homework assignment famz.

I'm just sayin, that ain't a democratic processes fam, thats the homie discount. Though the pres elect is assumed to pick his VP, there is a LOT of speculation of how the VP is really picked, and surpise surprise, it has to do with the rich elite LOL.

I'm just sayin tho....what part of the game is this?
